@clive made in Australia. Used to build them about 3km from my house and fly them from a short field behind the factory (not a real strip) to the nearest airport then off to buyers

@bgrinter @clive I'm surprised any of these are still flying. It certainly rivals the Belphegor for ugliest plane ever built. But, unlike the Polish abomination from Soviet times, the design premises for the Airtruk were sound.

@clive People who call that the ugliest airplane are clearly unaware of the X-24A. Or the M2-F1. Really any lifting body.

Or, to some tastes, the Rutan Model 202 Boomerang built by Scaled Composites. I like that one, but it’s sure weird.
