What alternative do You suggest? startpage.com? quant.com? Something else?
To be honest everyone is tracking everyone everywhere so I stopped to care and use duck.go because it is just so much more convenient as a search engine.
It seems to give me today better results then google.com and when I want to use other facilities/sites their 'bangs' - https://duckduckgo.com/bangs - described here.
For example: !m sth - for search on google maps !ya sth - for yandex.com search !w sth - for wikipedia search
@vermaden I haven't found a good alternative but I have some websites to research. I'm not worried about tracking as much as how slow it is to search on a slow network. If I'm reading chrome stats right, it transfers over 12MB of data.
