Yet despite Germany having 16,7M confirmed and estimated >40M illegal firearms and Switzerland still allowing civilan possession of newly made machine guns, advanced suicides are basically nonexistant compared to the USA even when adjusted per capita.
Maybe havin also accessible mental healthcare is the reason why people here don't do that.
@WorkingFamilies I’ve had a gun pointed in my face exactly once… by a police officer. Solving the violence in our society will require a lot more than just laws to limit civilian access to guns.
Wish I remembered the source, but apparently a lot of guns taken by the police were already their system... "somehow" the guns end up back on the street. I can't imagine how the cops could ever lose track of the guns they take ...
