It's genuinely inspiring and wholesome. Do the thing you want to. People who think it's too weird don't have to fucking consume it.
Imagine the world where Ed became a tax prepper or something instead of making his assorted dead baby games. I wouldn't want to live in that world.
In addition to assorted Dead Baby Dressups (more than I remember), there's also Carious Welting (also a dead baby)m a Welting dressup, Dr. Fetus (meatboy), all the Isaac games/DLCs, probably some other games of his I haven't played, and I'm sure Mewgenics will involve lots of dead babies.
It's also really funny that BoI has incrementally released fairly deep lore that, more or less, constantly just resolves back to "it's a game about a dead baby"
