What is your favorite thing about Godot?
Figure we can kick off some conversation here with a question! I personally really enjoy how small projects in it are (a jam game I made in Godot is about 10x smaller than one I made in Unity)

chrislenz, It's not intimidating. I'm not a pro game developer. I don't want to make some huge AAA type game. I just like making little games and it's easy to do that in Godot.
Before Godot, I used GameMaker from version 5.3 up to Studio 2. I didn't really like using Studio 2. When they decided to change their pricing model, it pushed me to look for something else. I found Godot and it reminded me a lot of how early GameMaker felt to me. I don't know how to really explain it, but it just feels fun to use.
vrojak, It's extremely light weight compared to unity and unreal, and just using the engine and editor is enjoyable. I haven't personally used unreal, but I find the UI so ugly I'm not going to.
