    @thepoliticalcat i don't know, they have area names for the regions the different tribes are from but if they have a name that unites the different regions (like Turtle Island in north america) i don't know what it is.

    @thepoliticalcat some individual first nations consider their nation to be a country by itself, separate from the other nations. Why north american First Nations were "easily" defeated, each nation as far as i know dealt with the invaders separately. Read a novel by Pamela Sergeant called Climb The Wind on the subject, on what if the First Nations had a unifying leader how would history be different. I get names confused so the author or title might be a little off.
