Is there any professional air... person (engineer? physicist? Thermodynamics' enthusiast?) here who could tell me whether they'd be okay to use as general air filters in a DIY project with way less air pressure than a vacuum uses? 🤔
Vacuum filters are often for dust and larger particles, and you require an acid-free carbon filter for particles produced by filaments such as ABS. If you are interested, there is a #opensource project called the #Nevermore, which is a filtering solution.
I am currently in the process of moding it for my enclosure.
@Stark9837@3dprinting Right now I actually look for a filtered air intake to get clean air from the outside. Living with someone who got an allergy against pollen. Should look for an air filter for the hallway (where the printer is located) too though!
