That would definitely explain why it’s sped up if the source was a bunch of still images. I’ve seen other edits of it that look a little more like a real-time video.

See, it turns out that the Rabbit R1 seems to run Android under the hood and the entire interface users interact with is powered by a single Android app. A tipster shared the Rabbit R1’s launcher APK with us, and with a bit of tinkering, we managed to install it on an Android phone, specifically a Pixel 6a....
Note that since it’s just an Android app, there is no purpose in selling this e-waste device other than increasing the price, since it does nothing you can’t already do on your phone.
I’m pretty sure that story was faked by putting a separate display in the shell of a pregnancy test. They don’t even have real displays usually, let alone a full reprogrammable microcontroller
I’d expect in most cars it’s as simple as pulling a fuse for the cellular radio. But depending on how the car is designed that might break other features like the infotainment or keyless entry. It’s hit or miss how any given car will react to things being unplugged.
What specific features did you notice the most? (I’m assuming switching from Android?) 90% of my phone usage is through a browser, so I could probably install Graphene pretty easily.
Interesting. Not having a good maps / navigation app might be a bit of a dealbreaker for me, since that’s pretty much the last 10% of what I use my phone for. Degoogling myself there will require some effort…
As for push notifications and feeds, I don’t really have a problem with that on my current phone with base android. I’m pretty aggressive about blocking random notifications or uninstalling apps entirely if they show me push notifications ads or “use me” reminders. And my home screen is just a clock and calendar.
I don’t think this has anything to do with Israel. The government moves so slow, this was probably all started back in 2021 or 2022 at the start of his term.

As far as I know, pretty much the only anti-cheat that doesn’t work on linux is the kernel-level malware kind. I personally avoid those games at all costs regardless. That’s easy for me to say though, since I barely play any competitive games…
I host a few small low-traffic websites for local interests. I do this for free - and some of them are for a friend who died last year but didn’t want all his work to vanish. They don’t get so many views, so I was surprised when I happened to glance at munin and saw my bandwidth usage had gone up a lot....
I learned this in highschool when I discovered sending ping floods from a 1gbit VPS to a slow residential Internet connection can take down your Internet even if the router doesn’t respond to pings. The bandwidth still all needs to make it to the router in your house to be dropped.
As someone who’s absolutely terrible at drawing, but enjoys photography and generally creativity, having AI tools to generate my own art is opening up a whole different avenue for me to scratch my creative itch.
I’ve got a technical background, so figuring out the tools and modifying them for my purposes has been a lot more fun than practice drawing.
I think the way I use AI is fundamentally different from how most people draw. For me it’s much more like I’m exploring what’s possible, while making creative decisions on the direction to explore. I don’t start with anything in particular in mind. In a lot of ways it helps with the choice paralysis I get when faced with completely open-ended things like art.
The risk of me getting wrongfully convicted of something and getting a death sentence is higher than the chance of some dangerous murder escaping prison and hurting me.
Unfortunately being absolutely 100% certain is not a luxury we have in the majority of cases. People are framed, new evidence comes up, things like lie detectors and blood splatter analysis turn out to be junk science. Life in prison can get overturned and corrected if mistakes were made, death can’t.
This graph actually shows a little more about what’s happening with the randomness or “temperature” of the LLM.
It’s actually predicting the probability of every word (token) it knows of coming next, all at once.
The temperature then says how random it should be when picking from that list of probable next words. A temperature of 0 means it always picks the most likely next word, which in this case ends up being 42.
As the temperature increases, it gets more random (but you can see it still isn’t a perfect random distribution with a higher temperature value)
