Hi, I just started using Logseq via the Mac desktop app. My Mouse is a Logi M720 Triathlon with thumb buttons set to default settings with Forward (Forward button) and Back (Back button). Those work just fine everywhere. IDEs, text editors, Obsidian, browsers etc. But in Logseq, the buttons do nothing and it kinda breaks my flow...
Yes, I tried it before but Logseq was not recognized but was there after a reboot so I got a workaround going. Still it would be nice to not have special rules.
I was not satisfied with Plasma because I would have different window styles etc. With Plasma 6 I removed all themes and all the shit and customized it with builtin features only. It looks so nice and clean and just works like a charm.
When you handle all your errs the same way, I’d say you’re doing something wrong. You can build some pretty strong err trace wrapping errs. I also think it’s more readable than the average try catch block.
It’s been a year since installment. I just got the whatever-it-installs from the iterm download page. I really don’t know what it asked me to do.
I have been wrong. I once installed it via the website, but since my employer introduced a managed software center, I uninstalled and reinstalled it via the MSC – and that kept reinstalling iterm.
I don’t know why the repo was added anymore. I’ll try a flag that was suggested in another response, or otherwise will try to remove the repo so it does not bother me anymore.
Oh I didn’t know about the priority system. That might help. I guess I’ll try to figure out, if I need the wolfi repo in the first place and remove it if possible and in addition add OpenSUSE as a vendor of higher prio to avoid similar issues in the future.
Yeah I’m really happy about some really good answers to my problem. This is my first non-experimental long used Linux system and when I started a year ago, I was experimenting with some stuff and added some repos that were recommended in some videos and blogs. And now I feel the pain of not keeping the count low :D Learning through pain is a real thing here.
You’re absolute right with the random repos. Yet, when I started a year ago, I was pretty new to the whole linux thing and allowed myself some experimenting.
You’re right. Giving 30% for really fucking good platform services is way worse than having to find a publisher that takes in 70 to 90% of revenue and pushes devs to release unfinished games.
Hello, I just startet up my PC and Latte-Dock seems to be gone, not only my local installation, but also the package from zypper. Does someone know whats happening here?
I’m not on Plasma 6 yet. I’m undecided whether I should do the switch as it defaulta to wayland, but Wayland seems to be not the best choice right now.
I just noticed, that my SSD is almost full and I think it is because of all the zypper packages I got installed. I’ve got another ~100gb SSD thats just for stuff (mounted unter “Misc” says it all) and would like to move some (or all?) of the packages like vscode, podman or other stuff on that second SSD. Is there a way to...
I’ve found the du command (but with other flags) and it led me to some old snapshots that took up a good chunk of space. du -sch revealed some 5gb of junk in my download folder, so that was a good call too ;D
zypper clean did not too much, but I got ~40gb of space back, so thats nice. I’ll probably try to replace some of the not so close to the system stuff with flatpaks. Thats a thing I wanted to dive deeper into anyways.
For podman, I only just installed it because I wanted to learn more about container / docker stuff (it’s part of my daily professional life, but I always feel like I don’t actually know anything about it), so theres nothing to be removed. It was just the package that made me aware of the little space I had left on my disk.

Since this evening I have some problems with my OpenSuse Tumbleweed installation. I’m kind of a noob and everything I tried didn’t work out....
