Fell down an OSM rabbit hole and started patching up tagging on displayed historical aircraft. There's definitely a larger project to be had if someone has the inclination.

The most common mistag seems to be tourism=artwork but I also appreciate building=plane (presumably to make sure the outlines render on carto??)

Anyone have a good tag for this kind of floating obstacle course and slides etc? I found a handful while reviewing various water skiing features. To keep track of them, I tagged it as leisure=aquapark but definitely don't think that's the optimal tagging.

I know you #OpenStreetMap folks are waterway enthusiasts... well, here's a uMap with just over 1300 named waterways that are currently unmapped!!

The locations on the uMap are roughly where the waterway "starts". Some imagery layers that I am finding useful: USGS 3D Elevation, USA/Mexico/Canada/Scandinavia Topo Maps, and standard aerials.

I've been using the changeset hash tag #1337RiverProject to track my work.

I've been spending a LOT of time on @streetcomplete lately. All the exploration serendipity of Pokemon Go, and helping @openstreetmap at the same time.

Trying it in a new city today and there is a LOT of low hanging fruit here.
