I'm getting rusty at apologetics so I need practice. Chesterton has a line about this that, paraphrasing "The more Christian you become the harder it is to articulate the reasons to non-believers, the Truth becomes so self-evident that any explanation sounds fraudulent"

Between griffith, protoss, and people irl, I think all the atheist arguments boil down to "I personally don't understand the logic on an infinite being and the implications make my tummy hurt". Still not sure of the best way to argue against it. Going to run some laps and hit the gym soon.

I don't believe dunning-kreuger is a real phenomenon (it doesn't replicate) but every argument with an atheist is always the exact D-K steryotype, you don't understand basic logical deductions and out yourself as extremely uninformed, but act magnanimous and oblivious.

Proving that the universe is intelligible and bound by immaterial laws that are omnipresent and infinite...is just rediscovering the divine Logos, the power and universality of mathematics is incomprehensible under atheist ontology. Learning about math is like retracing the path the neoplatonists took towards Constantinople. And when you trace the actual history of mathematics and see that all the great achievements after ancient Greece were won by Christian Mathematicians. Everything in the subject points towards beauty, truth, infinity, God.

According to the article they used hard water and trapped the plastic in the scale https://www.livescience.com/health/boiling-tap-water-can-remove-nearly-90-percent-of-microplastics-new-study-finds

"To investigate, the researchers created samples of tap water containing many of the commonly occurring minerals alongside three commonly occuring microplastic compounds: polystyrene, polyethylene, and polypropylene. The researchers also varied the "hardness" of the water samples by adjusting the concentrations of calcium carbonate. (A vast majority of American homes use hard water, meaning the water has a high mineral content.)

After boiling the samples for 5 minutes and leaving them to cool, the researchers noted a drastic decline in the amount of microplastics. In harder water, there was a nearly 90% reduction in microplastics, because the calcium carbonate in the water became solid at higher temperatures, trapping the plastic particles within.

The researchers say that using this method alongside a simple coffee filter to remove the solidified calcium could be an easy way to remove the potentially health-damaging particles."
