@joern Thank you for your feature request! Suggestions and feedback are always welcome. What do you mean exactly with “on device speech recognition”? Do you mean e.g. a voice to text feature to transcribe voice messages? ^pm
Three years ago today, WhatsApp enforced its controversial new privacy policy, which considerably weakened users’ data protection. That’s when May 15 became #DeleteWhatsAppDay. 🚮
Since the first Delete WhatsApp Day, Meta has invested millions in large-scale marketing campaigns, trying to convince Internet users that WhatsApp is a privacy-respecting service. It is not. Quite the opposite: https://threema.ch/bp/whatsapp-and-user-data
Hey @threemaapp thanks for providing such a user-friendly and accessible messaging app. However, the Threema ID setup screen could be more accessible for TalkBack users. It would be helpful to include instructions on how users should swipe to navigate to the end of the screen. Additionally, please consider adding accessibility actions to make it easier for TalkBack users to interact with messages. #Android#A11y
@accessibleandroid Thank you for your feedback! We will be happy to pass it along internally. Improving Threema’s accessibility is important to us. Should you have further inputs, do not hesitate to contact us again! ^pm
@andre_meister As a general rule, we do not collect, compile, or analyze data unless it’s absolutely necessary, and we only keep it for the shortest amount of time possible. Therefore, past government requests and details concerning them have been deleted. The number you’re looking for obviously lies in the range of 0–473/462. However, as stated in our post, an FCM push token doesn’t necessarily link to a Google account.
@chbmeyer The fact that all communication is always end-to-end encrypted in Threema can be verified by means of the app’s source code (and reproducible build on Android). Even if we’d publish the server code, there would be no way for users to verify that the published code is the one that’s actually in use. For these reasons, the server code is not that relevant and has not been published so far. ^pm
@pixelcode If you are using Threema for Android, you can set contact-specific notification sound by tapping on the bell symbol in the upper right corner of the chat. If you are using Threema for iOS we will be happy to have a look at your feature request. Thank you for your support! ^pm
