@exitcode I'm AFK but can explain it. That widget holds small screenshots of the window contents when you minimize, so windows "go" there when they are minimized.

@exitcode It would not be hard to do, making a copy of the app list applet used in the dock and adjusting how it looks.

Some updates on #COSMIC applet for #ollama :)

improved layouts/settings page so now i think everything is not looks like out of place haha

added load, save, remove conversations from history

also now it's possible to pull and remove models locally.

ahh, and beautiful button to stop current typing by bot, so if we don't like what he is saying, we can stop him while typing :)

I wrote a PDF reader with libcosmic yesterday. While it is very basic and not likely to be ready for the first COSMIC release, it is pure rust, lightweight, GPU accelerated, and highly portable.

@KeyJ Custom rendering based on iced's canvas widget. Pure rust PDF parsing done by lopdf, but all operators have to be handled in cosmic-reader.

I freaking hate politics right now. There is no place for views that aren't hard-left or hard-right. There is no desire for dialog. Most people in reality are not perfect ideological stereotypes. But in spite of that, I see more and more of my online acquaintances falling into line with these sterotypes. Being part of the left leaning FOSS community, usually this means presenting as far left revolutionaries. It is resulting in the split of communities and ejection of good faith participants.

I ask, "How left is left enough?" If your answer is something similar to "As left as I am, or more" there will always be a group of further left people who want to remove you for your "fascist" beliefs.

I could replace left with right and fascist with communist and that is exactly what is happening in other spaces (often filled with MAGAts) right now.

We can create inclusive communities that support the needs of all people without establishing thoughtcrime as a moderatable offense.
