Just listened to Nirvana's 'In Utero" for what I believe is the first time. I liked the drum sound very much (thanks Steve Albini), but Kurt Chillblain's vocals made me want to stick forks in my ears. Thank the gods that's over.

@Neverfadingwood Ok. No idea if it would be of any appeal to you but a favourite of mine (not on that list) is Things We Lost In The Fire by Low. A thing of fragile beauty IMO.

@Neverfadingwood Don't know the former but yes I'm a big fan of the latter. Godspeed You Black Emperor also had an album (Yanqui U.X.O.) produced by Albini and that's a favourite of mine too.

@Neverfadingwood Yes and it's been seven years since I saw either of you. I do recall one or two decent evenings having a drink with him in Derby when Bufetowa came to visit, and that's probably 8 or 9 years ago now.
