I intend on posting/sharing/boosting about #libraries, #GLAM, #left politics, #censorship, #disability rights, and #LGBTQ rights in this scary time of fascism. More than ever our libraries need us!

digitalspork, to random

https://cozygame.club will have dedicated categories for Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, My Time At Portia/Sandrock, Animal Crossing & Coral Island, and plenty of room to expand with demand.

Suggestions will always be welcome.

My planned launch date is late July/Early August.

skeletonpup,

@digitalspork this is an awesome idea! I feel like cozy gamers are in need a place on the internet for them to hang out 😊

skeletonpup,

@digitalspork I really like that the fedi very much feels like old school forums. Discord is nice, but there's really something about someone being able to encounter your "forum" and join, as opposed to having to be given a link, you know? It's neat. I have faith that you can create that! 🥰

skeletonpup, to disability

Today I discovered that not only is July #Disability Pride Month but also that we have a flag. It is so well done and extremely meaningful. It was created by Ann Magill, a disabled writer.

The entire thing will not fit into the thumbnail but if you open the image, it will tell you what each color and flag feature stands for. It is also in the alt text if you are unable to open it.

#disabled #accessibility #cerebralpalsy #adhd #autism #OCD #PTSD #bipolar #depression #invisibleillness (& more!)

skeletonpup,

@gewalker @whangdoodler It's awesome and so inclusive, I absolutely love it. You can tell that Ann put a lot of thought and love into this. This is an updated version that is less bright and was made in coordination with people who suffer from seizures, and also made it to where it can be viewed by people with color blindness. So awesome!

skeletonpup,

Even more, there was so much thought put into this that the stripes were even made in such a way that they would not trigger any sort of migraine or seizures for people. They are also set up in a way where they have different luminosity so that people with color blindness can more easily discern the different colors!

skeletonpup,

A very kind commenter mentioned that it would be nice if people could know the hex codes and RGB coordinates in order to replicate the colors perfectly. I had not even considered this, so I went looking and found the codes. If you'd like to replicate the colors for art or design, here they are! (This link has a lot of other info about the flag too).

@noellemitchell I'm going to start The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose! I am in the thriller mood, I think, haha.
