@lacey I’m having this same problem and have thought about trying to get a writing cohort of some kind together. @CodenameTim put something like this together at #DjangoConUS last year and just one morning helped me a ton to get some writing done. If that sounds at all like something you’re interested in let me know 😄

A question for my security friends out there, is it good practice for an IT team to send out a Phishing email to all users to ‘test’ them? Follow up question, if it IS a good idea, who do you typically use as the sender of the email? Like, the CEO, CFO, a high ranking IT person in the org? Someone else?

0️⃣ After an hour of @djangopackages sprinting yesterday, we have Sentry Exception Zero for the first time since I have been a maintainer.

Updated: I took this after ~16 hours from our last release and hit resolve on the bugs we fixed.

I heard about a tool called justpath (I can't remember where though) and it's nice, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to now CLEAN up the PATH on my mac. I mean, I now know that it's got bad links, and duplicates, but what is the best way to now clean these up? Has anyone used justpath and the been able to successfully clean up their PATH variable?

@webology Thanks for the tip! When you say, “started from an empty PATH” does that mean you set the PATH in you .zshrc file to be empty and then started adding stuff back, OR something else? The weird thing I’m seeing is some of the invalid items in my PATH are things like /var/ran/com.apple.security… which I think are probably hold overs from upgrades and migrations becasue I’m seeing them on other Macs in my house that aren’t mine.

I'm down to only 2 duplicates of usr/local/bin which I can't find ANYWHERE.

The only think that's keeping me going in my quest right now is that it's Book Club Night, so I'm kind of hiding from the members of the Book Club that have taken over my living room 🤣

@webology that is weird. I ended up moving a few files from /etc/paths.d/ to my desktop and when I restarted my terminal and ran justpath all of my invalid paths went away. I’m hoping to write up everything I did this weekend.

It took some doing, but I have been successful in getting the #LosAngelesDodgers opening day game against the #StLouisCardinals on my AppleTV. But also, the blackout rules for #MLB are such BS.

@greg I got that message too and discovered it was due to the ‘free’ MLB I get through T-Mobile. It turns out that the free subscription ended on March 1 and can’t be turned back on until March 26. It’s been a long spring because of that!

A little more than three months later and my lemon tree is still going strong. It’s hard to see in this picture BUT there are more than 30 green fruits that will, I’m assured, turn into yellow lemons in the next few months!
