1860s tenement on the corner of Woodlands Road and Willowbank Street in the West End of Glasgow. I love the shape of the roofline at the corner, and the fact that the original multi-pane sash windows have been retained throughout the whole block.

The former North British Diesel Engine Works on South Street in Glasgow. Part of the Barclay Curle Clydeholm shipyard, it was built in 1913, it was designed by Karl Bernhard and J. Gait in a Modernist style based on on Peter Behren's1909 A.E.G. Turbine Factory in Berlin. The Titan Crane was built in 1920 to lift the completed engines into ships berthed alongside it on the Clyde.

Blonde sandstone tenement on the corner of Claremont Street and Argyle Street in the Finnieston area of Glasgow. I love those windows at the left hand end, a bay window forming the narrow end wall of this gushet building.

A curved gushet sandstone tenement on the corner of Clayslaps Road and Argyle Street in the West End of Glasgow. It dates from 1876, some 26 years before the 1902 Flatiron Building in New York, which is probably the most famous gushet building in the world.
