One important thing is that autism isn't all bad; there are good things about it (whether it's "worth it" is another question and depends on the individual).

@nekohayo Autistic person here. Centring a variable-length URL that might be truncated on the right simply makes no sense and is highly annoying, so please just don't.

I didn't know what to answer on the poll. I could put up with such a broken centred address display if I really had to, so it's not a "serious" accessibility issue. But I do have the option of using another browser instead, and I would.

Was just at the most amazing talk I’ve attended for a long time* – totally worth the online fee for #Autscape2023 on its own :gi:

Nat Titman was talking about ‘The Autism–Dissociation Association’, and managed to cram so many novel ideas and relatable points into an hour and a quarter

They also gave a model example of genuinely informative and well-timed content notes/trigger warnings

*allowing for SDAM 😉

@transponderings It's perfectly on brand for Musk and his total lack of anything resembling management skills.

On a related note, I'm not surprised the blocking feature is still there. Musk fired all the competent engineers months ago and no one worth their salt would want to work there now, so I suspect they have no idea how to remove the feature without breaking the site completely.
