I spent all weekend making linux jails, bhyve vm's and all the while using a freebsd jail as the DNS (sinkhole) server for everything. I really love this operating system.

I installed FreeBSD 14.0 on an old 2013 Mac Pro with dual boot to MacOS. The FreeBSD partition is formatted as ZFS. Somehow it works! https://eldapper.wordpress.com/2024/03/07/installing-freebsd-14-0-on-a-2013-mac-pro/
