Wooooo did another #OpenSource contribution! I fixed the supported versioning of a tool I use to generate changelogs after I discovered that we weren't using a valid version of #Node.

I love doing open source, wish I could do it more often!

#KevinMcCarthy lasted 27 #Scaramuccis, the shortest tenure since 1875 (270 days). The #GOP has clearly shown they lack the ability to govern, and I really hope that message makes its way to the voters this coming #election.

There are too many pressing issues that need to be addressed. We can't afford a dysfunctional government right now.

But you are right, the memory does not last long. Without voters not making politicians accountable long-term, we're stuck in this limbo of divided government where no single policy position is given a long-term shot to prove its worth.

Regardless of what it is, it gets hobbled as soon as the other side is in power.

Sometimes I really hate my brain. I've been noodling on a large refactor for work over the last week or so, and at 2am last night my brain decided it was time for all the pieces to fall in place.

Literally could not fall asleep so I coded up the bulk of the solution from 2 to 6 this morning. Kept trying to take a break but I was on a roll and just had to get it all out.

Code works great now and is way simpler, so there is some upside to the whole ordeal.

@isagalaev Yeah most nights I can write down the thought and drift off to sleep, but this one just grabbed me.

It was a lot of fun since none of my teammates were interrupting me with questions and I made a ridiculous amount of progress!

Not something I want to happen again anytime soon though lol

Well shoot, #Twitter has made it so you can't see the content unless you have an account.

This kind of thing is infuriating, since many news articles, businesses, artists, and more run their stuff through #Instagram, #Facebook, and #Twitter, and I literally can't see any of it because I don't have an account.

Surveillance capitalism is well under way in its quest to create a two-tiered #Internet experience, where you have to give up your privacy to participate.

Look, I'm all for "not seeing color". That should be the ultimate goal for society!

But striking down in higher education before we've solved the systemic inequalities still baked into American life from centuries of racist policies is a bad move.

We're not there yet, if the marching unmasked in the street are any indication.
