Ein LTE-Vertrag der auf 32 kb/s herabgesetzt wird. 🤯

Ich hab’s mal für euch getestet: 32kb/s ist gleichbedeutend mit „wir schalten dir das Internet ab!!“

Bei allem Respekt: das ist großer Dummsinn der Provider.

Code-Smells caused by "history" are sometimes funny. In one project, we have often this:

variable = otherValue == null ? null : otherValue

instead it can be just this:

variable = otherValue

(Some months ago, the null-check was important because the code was like this:

variable = otherValue == null ? null : otherValue.longValue())

@akop I am so glad about languages like Kotlin which offer non-nullable types. Exactly that will get unnecessary and also survive refactorings. #kotlin

I recently bought a chinese MiniPC with Win11 Pro preinstalled on it. Sinc I will put a Linux on that system, I wonder how to preserve the Win11 Pro stuff for reinstallation.

How can I identify if an install partition is on there?
How can I preserve it (maybe by creating a disk image with gparted or similar)?
How can I extract the windows key for reinstallation?

Any suggestions?

@weipah I made a disk image with clonezilla. I am not even sure, if I really need win11 install again. I wasn't pleased with it. 🤷
