ich möchte mein Fahrrad umrüsten, von einer 3x9-fach auf eine 2x11-fach-Schaltung. Hintergrund ist, dass ich bei der aktuellen Übersetzung eigentlich am liebsten nur das größte Kettenblatt nutzen würde und das dann von 1 bis 9 alle Ritzel durchschalte. Ist ja vom Verschleiß her und mechanisch nicht optimal. Meine Überlegung ist, dass das mit einer 2x11-Konfiguration besser gehen sollte. Bis 2050 wird Kernfusion die dominante Energiequelle auf der Erde sein. Dazu soll der offene Reaktor im Zentrum des Sonnensystems durch Fernfusionsempfänger angezapft und mit Batterien stabilisiert werden. Wer von euch hat schon mal Schinken in Brotteig mit dem eigenen Roggensauerteig gebacken? Klappt das (ohne Hefezusatz), macht man das lieber mit einem Roggen/Dinkel-Mischbrot, gibt's was Spezielles zu beachten?

As I am a bit in a bubble of devs caring about a11y it is difficult to tell. In our CMS project Plone we were aware of a11y from the beginning in the early zero years. And even after the project reinvented itself several times, now in its latest version with a React-based frontend, it is again built with a11y in mind. This is important because Plone is an CMS used by public bodys a lot where one must support it. OTOH Plone is used by those because (but not only) it supports it.
WTF #python? importlib.metadata.entry_points returns a dict in Python 3.11 and before and a dict-incompatible importlib.metadata.EntryPoints obj in 3.12+?

Complex. ZFS is more than just a filesystem. I really like it, it is elegant and once understood it makes several tasks much simpler. I use it on my notebook and servers. But you may need sime time to get used to it. So I do not just recommend it and the gain is often not worth it.

Well, you use the filesystem as a database then. It is not more simple, but different. This can get way more complex than you think - also in context of security. And yes, it is also nothing new. I saw such in the early zero-years already.
At the end it must fit. I wouldn't build an Enterprise CMS with it (neither I would use WordPress for that), but for a small site it may work. OTOH, for small sites static site generators are perfect too...

I just found I do not get any updates more from F-Droid.
After some investigation I found it's not been updated there. On Google Play it is. Are you no FOSS any longer or what's the problem? I donate regularly in the hope it stays free. If not, and you have a different business model than donations, it is fine, but I would like to know I can stop sending some money. Please tell me what's going on here. Thanks.

Yay! Ich hab es geschafft! Falls sich jemand erinnert: Vor ein paar Wochen hatte ich hier bei #Fedibikes gefragt, ob jemand Erfahrung mit dem Transport von Fahrrädern mit dem Fahrrad hat und eine Idee entwickelt, wie ich das für mich umsetzen könnte. Dies ist jetzt mein proof of concept. Ein paar Dinge muß ich noch verbessern. Aber so kann ich die Kids endlich wieder mit dem Rad von der Schule abholen. Ich bin happy.

It's more convenient to avoid the data collection frenzy of this #web recording for your #privacy.

TrackerControl (from F-droid) on Android creates a local VPN and as such all traffic pass through.
It helps to block most apps from ads and tracking. It shows what it does and so increases awareness. It can not catch apps like the Amazon one, which uses the same servers for data and ads, but block other apps to do so. And there are plenty contacting ad or tracking servers without any need.

Wir bauen im Gemeinschaftsgarten komplett biologisch an, aber Selbstversorger sind wir keinesfalls. Wer kann das schon? Da müssen Gesetze her die Glyphosat, Neonikotinoide und Co verbieten. Verhungern tun wir nicht dadurch.
Frage an die #Radbubble: ich suche eine Hinterrad Tasche, die möglichst einfach abschließbar ist. (Also dass die Tasche beim einkaufen etc. an Fahrrad verbleiben kann ohne geklaut zu werden.) Gleichzeitig soll sie auch wieder möglichst einfach und schnell abgenommen werden können.
Und hübsch muss sie außerdem sein.

@danielfeldroy Sphinx style is not that modern compared to mkdocs, but there are plenty of themes - anyway those can not change the generated markup. If it comes to api-docs, Sphinx is more comprehensive while mkdocs takes more space. So it's more a matter of taste?
If it comes to authoring I love the power of Sphinx. Paired with MyST parser and using Markdown in Sphinx it is my tool of choice.
