4 June 1470: Pope Paul II issues a Bull granting a plenary indulgence to all pilgrims visiting St Thomas Becket's shrine at #Canterbury Cathedral on the jubilee date of 29 Dec 1470 - the 300th anniversary. 68 years later it would be destroyed.
