Are fictional dystopias blocking us from better futures? - Big Think

Granted, Star Trek presented utopia, but a bleak view forward is entertaining and plausible. 😊 Tracts like Marc Andressen’s The Techo-Optimist Manifesto are seen as tech bro propaganda. In the end, dystopian stories aren’t anti-progress. They’re pro-human.
