@Tijn Great game but Star Trek game? I evacuate air from sections to stop fire or kill intruders a lot. I can only think of one time that ST:TNG did that.

@bp @fedora @gnome I definitely recommend engaging with the matrix channel if you have problems. They were able to help me fix the #Gamerzilla shell extension for Fedora 39.

But gnome please try to limit the breaking in the future. 😀

Developers: People don't really care too much if your api is ugly. They do care when you break things. Sometimes it can't be helped but it should be kept to a minimum.

I also decided to create a boss for Shippy 1984. I went with a giant bird. I'm not real pleased with it. It needs more details. Probably should prototype the gameplay first. #gamedev #shippy1984

I devoured Strange New Worlds Season 2. I finally finished Discovery Season 4.

Can anyone recommend some novels? TOS, TNG, Disco, SNW, DS9, doesn't matter, as long as they're awesome.

@killyourfm Captain's Log just came out for Star Trek Adventures rpg. It is solo rules for the rpg.

Have you checked out fan creations? Star Trek Continues. Hidden Frontiers. There are lots of them.

For books anything from Peter David.

You should occasionally look at humble bundle. They do Star Trek comic bundles sometimes.

Trying out lemmy. I joined the preserve.games instance. Not sure about it so far. I'm unable to subscribe to a lemmy.ml community. Based on comments it is probably because lemmy.ml is not responding fast enough at the moment. Trying to post to a community on programming.dev and it is just wait for it to succeed. #lemmy

    @ThePlant @gamingonlinux Security researcher contact me about a "critical vulnerability" in my web site. He offered a surprising reasonable price for the report. I told him if it was sql injection or remote execution I'd consider it but if it was a XSS I wasn't interested. It was XSS.

    Security researchers destroy their credibility by claiming everything is critical.
