Sachsens SPD zieht Konsequenzen nach Angriff auf Europapolitiker und klebt Plakate nur tagsüber. Die Dunkelheit in Sachsen gehört jetzt also schon den Faschisten.

Mich erinnert das fatal an die Schlägertrupps im faschistischen Italien und die SA, die der Staat gewähren ließ. Widerstand gegen Faschismus wurde so überaus erfolgreich eingeschüchtert und mundtot gemacht.

Man wird sehen, wie Polizei und Justiz das behandeln.

While Mastodon is quite a lively place, my attempts with were disappointing. Did I start on the wrong instance?

Youtube has a lot of interesting content, and I pay them to get rid of ads. They collect revenue and share some of it with the creators. That allows them to sustain an ecosystem, where independent creators can make a living from their uploads. Also, they get on my nerves by suggesting a lot of right-wing videos, and by making me pay to suppress ads. Advice?

@earth_walker it seems not to be catching on. There simply isn't much substantial content. I searched Sepia for US and British politics as well as brexit, and it turned up hardly anything that wasn't several months old.

Strongly recommend this book.

Author clearly explains how private equity firms are destroying essential industries, how they avoid legal responsibility for the disastrous consequences, who’s empowering them and how they can be stopped.

Private equity’s is to blame for much of the worst aspects of health care, housing crisis, the economy as well as the deepening wealth gap.

@ZDF technisch ist es Mist. Stürzt dauernd ab, verdreht die Welt um 90 Grad (nur vertikal auf Android).

I ordered dinner and figured I'd do some light kickboxing to get out my frustrations before the side effects of the COVID booster set in. This heavy bag has been in my basement since I was married.

@Free_Press While I am convinced of the strong ties between AfD and groups who try to overturn our democracy, I am not sure in how far such articles are helpful, which try to prove that AfD members were seen near certain events and have employed people who have certain contacts, as journalistically valid they are. They allow these people to claim that they are being made victims of association fallacy (Kontaktschuld).
It would be more insightful to quote incriminating things they said and did.

Stop blaming strikes for economic damage. Strikes are a logical response to overreach and greed from corporations and the wealthy. If there is resulting economic damage, look to those who drove the workers to strike in the first instance.

@georgetakei over here in Germany, strikes are a normal means to achieve acceptable payment and working conditions, when negotiations fail (which sometimes happens). Workers have the right to manifest their power through strikes, and courts rule that companies and striking workers should have equal "weapons". Strikes are short and effective, they happen about every two years when contracts end. Workers in the US should absolutely organize, and employers should get used to tougher negotiations.

Wisst Ihr noch, als die dreisten Öko-Terroristen Klaus Töpfer und Theo Waigel einfach Autos ohne Kat teurer machten als mit, indem sie 1100 DM Steuerersparnis einräumten? Und ab 1991 nur noch mit Kat erlauben wollten? Ins Gefängnis hätte man sie werfen sollen, die Verbrecher. Schon damals wurde mit der unsere schöne Technologieoffenheit zu GRABE gerichtet!!! Deutschland hat sich nie mehr von dem SCHOCK ERHOLT!!1!!
