Few days ago i managed to spend more time exploring bookbinding, trying new techniques, the blog post is here (don´t worry it's free): https://ko-fi.com/post/And-bookbinding-time-again-D-or-better-pamphlet-R6R4YGSK4
I tried to make few more pamphlet, using my book cover as cover and trying a new stitching technique the "Chain-Stitch". I really love the result of it. And i'm getting better on trimming! Here few pictures of my work (the full details are on the blog post) #bookbinding #crafting #pamphlet #handmade #mastoart #stationery #handmade #hobby

Two similar pamphlet done with cover printed different color of paper (left one is brown, right one is white). The cover is the osdev notes book cover. The notebook is called the "osdev notebook"
A detaile of the mini pamphlet done with the marbled paper
Detail of trimmed paper on one side of the pamphlet.

FWIW, in case you heard about " developers removed a deprecated mount option relied on":

@kernellogger But if a feature is marked as deprecated, this mean that people should avoid using it. So what i don't understand is if they are undeprecating it, or just reintroduce it, because other projects ignored the deprecation (that shouldn't be how things work in an ideal world)

So recently i had some time to play again with #bookbinding, tried to make couple of notebooks, one using some decorated paper i bought at a #crafting store, and the other one based on my #osdev_notes #book project, i call it the "Osdev Notebook", it's still in a drafting stage, but the idea is nice (i have designed the inner pages too).
I've posted it on my ko-fi page too: https://ko-fi.com/post/Some-homemade-notebooks-R6R8XQZG3 (don't worry i use it as my blog, so nothing to pay). #art #handmade

What do you say to whitespace-sensitive/oriented programming languages, assuming your IDE supports the whitespace-behaviour really well, and all the tooling around it is generally good?

dreamos82,
@dreamos82@mastodon.world avatar

@gregorni i would add a reply, that is:it depends on the programming language.
I mean if it is a good language why not?

dreamos82,
@dreamos82@mastodon.world avatar

@gregorni yes. I mean if the language is a good language, i will use it. But if it is not good, or i don't like it (i. e. Javascript/typescript) i will hate them no matter the syntax lol

Dear follower....

Post something. Anything.

I think a BOT is following me, because every once in a while I receive spam now.

The bot itself is not sending the spam. That's not how these things work.

But number 1 follows to be sure I am active and worth troubling, so it generates bot number 2 which gets banned for spam.

Bot number 1 is the issue. That's the target I need to block.

I'm going to go through my follower list and anyone who has been silent this whole time is getting blocked

dreamos82,
@dreamos82@mastodon.world avatar

@Linux_Is_Best how you can tell that a bot is not programmed to reply you? :D

Maybe is a bot that uses chatgpt. Maybe i am the bot? (no just kidding!)
