A feature I'm exploring for @IceCubesApp
Pin people at the top of your timeline (like Instagram stories, etc..), and whenever you refresh your timeline, you can tap on their pictures to see their most recent posts in your timeline context. You can also see their posts only, for example.

I also want to explore something that features threads on the top of the timeline. Maybe it'll be a filter, and perhaps it'll be something else.

The work with the Mastodon API is quite complete, so I can now enter @IceCubesApp in a new phase with more client-side features.

@cheeaun @IceCubesApp Interesting, but I think backing it by a server-side list makes it nice so it can be synched easily. But I probably have to generate some weird / unique title then.

It's funny how I often feel incredibly uncomfortable here because I canโ€™t really talk about generative AI, OpenAI stuff, innovation etcโ€ฆ because some of the crowd is just toxic about it.
Even on X, you donโ€™t get that kind of people flaming in your mentions because they think theyโ€™re on such a high horse.
I can have whatever opinion I want and you need to calm down.
Get over it. Generative AI is here to stay and so many workflow and tools will get improved because of it.

Testing iOS 17.5 to see if the crash on response/quote is fixed. This is a crash I canโ€™t even reproduce on the simulator.

@lorihc yes. Itโ€™s responding to a post in @IceCubesApp from the post derail screen. Sometimes when the composer modal dismiss it crashes the app. But not every time. Sometimes 10 times in a row, sometimes never, like right now.

The next version (1.10.39) of will include a option to use Apple Translate as your primary translation source. If you had โ€žalways use DeepLโ€œ set in the previous version this should be reflected after youโ€™ve updated.
