I'm such an old fool sometimes. There it is—LIFE! right in front of me, but too often, I'm looking down at my damn shoes wondering what went wrong and why.

I've had every privilege and a lifetime of opportunities; some I've taken, others I missed because I wasn't paying attention or didn't appreciate that those gifts might not be there forever.

Today, I'm thankful. Grateful.
