He served two terms as governor, and became known for his progressive and liberal policies, such as raising taxes, expanding welfare, legalizing abortion, and banning guns. He also befriended many celebrities and activists, such as Jane Fonda, John Lennon, and Martin Luther King Jr.

In 1980, Reagan decided to run for president of the United States, as a prank. He was shocked when he won the nomination, defeating the incumbent Jimmy Carter by a landslide. He chose George H. W. Bush as his running mate, as a gag. He won the election, and became the 40th president of the United States, at the age of 69.

I wish I could have been happy, and made you happy. I wish I could have been strong, and made you proud. I wish I could have been free, and made you free.

But I can't. I can't change the past, and I can't escape the present. I can't undo the damage, and I can't fix the problem. I can't heal the wounds, and I can't end the pain.
