Home from second medical appointment of the day. Outside temperature rapidly dropping towards predicted overnight min. of 5. Perhaps not an ideal time to have an ice pack wedged in one’s bra. However, after reviewing the scans, the tech decided to a less invasive biopsy procedure than originally planned, but I may need another MRI follow up.
I’m sore and regretting the whole schmozzle and maybe just want the damn boobs gone already. Back to specialist next week…

Took two phone calls, a total of 50 minutes, to report my that my phone had been spoofed to my provider. The first time I waited on hold for 26 minutes and couldn’t wait any longer as I had a Skype appointment. Second call got through eventually and reported.
Have changed my voicemail message, and some settings on my phone. Thanks to everyone who helped with advice, I very much appreciate your support! ❤️😊🙏

Just had Skype with mental health nurse. I’m sitting in the lounge at the furthest edge of our house. Partner gets home and tells me it looks like evil neighbour has been listening in at the side fence on the other side of the house.

I am stressed and do not need this.

This is one of my fun toys ... For making little bits and things for watches and clocks ... Bergeron 50 lathe for watch and clock makers ... I have my face in this lathe for a good part of every day, and when I say in it, 5cm {2inches} way from the chuck ... Hugz

Yes i am safe in the workshop, outside the workshop I'm a total klutz ... Giggles

@mtklr @melissabeartrix You do?! My mother was horrified when I pulled apart my first flute… my father, being an industrial arts teacher, just said “let her go, she’ll learn things!”
I haven’t pulled apart my “good” flute, that I scrimped and saved for, though!

@melissabeartrix @geographile @mtklr Exactly! I used to use cardboard egg cartons or big sheets of paper with numbers. Pull things down logically, and they usually go back together logically…

(Part 5) So now: Because Wonderdog started limping again towards the end of the walk (even though she’d been fine and zooming around at home) we’re back to the vets tomorrow. And I’m too tired to even unpack the new vacuum cleaner, since test driving the unsuitable one and walking around today has worn me out. The planned dinner may be out - we may be having soup and toast. Oooooffff!

@DrLiz Oh goodness! At 2, Raif is just out of teen times! It varies for each dog, though. Wonder dog could be a terror on and off until about 2, but settled after that, I think - she still has her moments!

@DrLiz Oh, the working dog puppy days of chewing everything in sight! Our bed legs still have plastic ag pipe on them because Wonderdog chewed them as a pup - we just never got around to lifting the bed up again, and taking the pipe off!

@pixelherodev @SeaFury Some@printers now won’t accept cartridges that are third party.

Which is why I now have a very cost laser printer at home instead. Colour printing is a rare luxury that, when necessary, I get done at Officeworks. For other print jobs, the low cost laser is brilliant.

I’m pretty new to #FamilyHistory, and I have something of an #Ethics question. I’m using a widely available app (free, may not be the best one, Family Tree) and there’s spots for “Sources” and “Memories.” Now, I’ve found things in my #TroveAustralia research that is less than flattering about non-direct ancestors, some have living descendants. Do I post it, or keep it to myself?

@mark The direct children aren’t alive… but the descendants of those children are. They could, if they wanted, find the same information as I have, I suppose. But do I have the right to disclose the information, if they were previously unaware?

Back from the dental surgeon checkup about the #WisdomTeeth extraction. He showed me how to properly flush the big hole left from the impacted lower tooth, and now it’s aching like belly-oh. He did say that it wasn’t an instinctual thing, and he quite often had to show people how to do it properly, but I’d managed ok, and there was no infection. Phew. Also that I’m up for a few more weeks of not being able to open my jaw properly yet. Back to the wheat bag…

    @Quokka I have used the phrase “mate, I’ve got socks older than you!” quite truthfully to end an argument.

    My goal is to learn to knit socks - I’m pretty sure Dad might still have some his Mum made him, and she’s been gone since 2009.

    I'll be tracking the last date that CMOs/CHOs etc in each jurisdiction last held a press conference or similar and took questions from the media on COVID.
