For coffee experts of Mastodon: I bought some honey processed coffee beans, I brewed them in my V60 and it was good. I have left the filter with the ground coffee on my counter for a few hours, and now it smells strongly of bourbon alcohol. What is going on?

My experiment with #Calckey may've hit a stall. 😞

Running the latest stable branch, I cannot get outgoing email working. I have tried multiple transactional email providers and continue to get nothing but errors.

It also doesn't help that the project’s documentation is, honestly, lacking. 😬

I think that maybe I need to put this down, walk away for a little bit, and pick things back up after the Calckey project does its big rename and 1.0 release in a couple weeks.

Why do I get the sinking feeling that apps will be able to opt out of tvOS 17 VPN connections?

I just want to use the Tailscale exit node I have running on my server in PDX to bypass LA’s MLB and NBA blackout restrictions. But there’s no way it’ll be that easy, right?

Running my MacBook pro off one of my DeWalt power tool batteries. There are USB-C adapters for most major tool battery brands out there, many of which (like this one) will both power devices and charge the tool battery from a standard USB-C power plug. YMMV in terms of quality/safety (this is the official dewalt adapter which works great).

Great for power redundancy, etc. A no brainer if you already have the batteries for tools.

Looks like I'm adding this USB-C adapter to my wishlist!
