Decided to help out someone in my neighborhood with their computer stuff. And honestly, even though I couldn’t figure everything out, it was kind of a nice feeling.

If anyone knows why a Ring camera can’t get through a firewall, let me know.

Got the electronet out and set up, and now all the 4 legged animals are out on grass for the first time this year! They are sooooo happy. (And the llama doesn't seem to have any thoughts of escape, so that's great).

A herd of over a dozen white goats with a couple of brown and black goats sprinkled in. They are 100% concentrating on eating. They are in a bright green grassy area, with a tall wooden fence, tall spruce trees, and a large old yellow barn in the background. There are lovely poofy clouds in a bright blue sky above.

Anyone have any web frontend recommendations? I've only ever used HTML/JS, but I'd like to use a framework to maybe make things simpler/quicker(?) I come from a Python background if that helps!

Using Immich has made me realize how many screenshots of awful people (Trump, RFK Jr., Elon, etc.) I have thanks to my habit of screenshotting tweets

@ernie I was confused the other night as to all these random people were in the 'People' section. So many faces from screenshots of posts being picked up, makes sense but it was so bizarre when I first encountered it.
