The Russian Karakurt-class missile corvette "Askold" has been destroyed by three direct missile hits while in the Zalyv shipyard in temporarily occupied , . It was launched only in September 2021 and had been used to fire Kalibr missiles on innocent civilians in .

@lethalbit an EBO [element buffer object] contains indices that point to specific vertices (points/corners of the rectangle) so that you don't have to repeat the same coordinates multiple times – for an rectangle drawn as two triangles you would need 6 vertices (three corners for each of the two triangles), using indices allows you to just define the 4 corners of the rectangle and reference two of them multiple times

pipeline and shaders are more complicated though ;)

Reportedly, Russian helicopter bases near temporarily occupied and were hit tonight. Russian telegram channels claim that this have been the first hits by ATACMS missiles newly provided by the US. High losses in equipment and manpower are expected.

Visible smoke and some flashes, as well as loudly audible explosions in the distance at night, including unsuccessful anti-air defense fire.

Satellite pictures of the airbase in temporarily occupied #Berdyansk apparently show the nine destroyed helicopters. Four more helicopters have not left the base since the strike, which indicates that they might have been damaged by shrapnel.🎯 #Ukraine #ATACMS

New satellite imagery sheds light on a second strike on temporarily occupied airport during the same night. At least five additional helicopters seem to have been damaged to various degree. 🎯
