In the time I grew up, there was a LOT of misinformation about Mexico and the Mexican people - mostly, Americans treated (and still do!) this county and history with contempt and derision, except when they wanted to exploit them for capitalist gains or take a vacation where they wanted to laws to apply.

I haven't been in CDMX for 24 hours, and I already know I want to come back. Not only is it one of the more beautiful cities I've every visited, but people are incredibly kind and welcoming. 💖
