Thanks to your awesome efforts I’ve secured housing for this month, but that just resets the clock for next month. Because I’m still about 10K in the red from medical biulls (on my credit cards in order to afford treatments) I need to raise $700-$1K a month.

My situation is both improving yet still dire. I’m dealing with the aftershocks of my mother’s (aged 74) broken arm & resulting job loss, and separately, the recent mental health crisis our family suffered, (emergency services intervention including therapy.)

If I can’t fundraise $1K by the 15th I risk losing my house. Contributions big or as small as as $2 really help. Even just quoting this and advocating for a disabled Indigenous mom and her family’s survival in your own words can make a huge positive impact.
