Second day of trying to use TOIL. Haha, joke’s on me, it never goes according to plan… Buuut can’t complain. Mate invited me around after work, fed me and gasbagged. Thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated.
Going to try again tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I am enjoying (Unnatural) アンナチュラル on NF. It seems a little more progressive that what I’d expect, so I’m finding it lighthearted, maybe a little western, but fun all the same.
I’ll say it’s a little bigger. I am the classic hoarder and then years later when I finally throw it out, a fortnight after I have a use for it. Happens. Every. Time.
Still feeling wrecked. Am kind of wondering whether it’s related to (an unpleasant road related incident)
spoileran accident yesterday. I was riding home and had to u-turn as there had been accident involving a motorcyclist just several minutes before. I didn’t see anything, but I saw the bobbing of a head and I knew they were desperately doing CPR. A witness said they’d been trying for 5 mins and didn’t know when the ambulance would arrive. They were on the way when I was riding back in the opposite direction. The news reported that he died at the scene. I’m trying not to think about it, but it’s hard since I ride there almost weekly. I mean, I know that it can happen anywhere, but most people on the weekends are sort of chill. It is a winding 60km that increases to 80km, but most people on the weekends take it pretty easy. Hell, I rode Black Spur yesterday and one of the drivers was literally driving half the speed limit. sigh Just that constant reminder of life.
Sorry, just needed to offload it.
Edit: Oh no. The spoiler isn’t working on mobile? I’m so sorry. 😔
Thanks, StudSpud. I guess I didn’t really realise how it might have affected me. I had a pretty bad sleep last night and didn’t put two and two together.
Even makeup goes wrong, too. Mine looks like a complete mug shot. Seriously. Everytime I look at it I immediately can see it being splashed across some US channel. LOL.
Watched the other two Wong Kar-Wai films in the supposed trilogy. I think because I watched them back to back they feel closer together than In The Mood For Love.
I haven’t watched this much film for ages. Something about it hits different than my bouts of voracious consumption aka binge watching. I had to pay attention.
The Steven McCurry Icons at Seaworks is definitely worth a visit. If you go in the evening make sure you’re rugged up. It’s a giant shed so it gets bloody cold.
