If you're into #trains and more specifically from #japan, here is a remarkable specimen from #chiba. The #choshielectricrailway runs from the #jr station #choshi off onto the peninsula. There is no turnstile, no IC card reader - there are conductors on this train who will gladly take your cash in exchange for a stamped ticket. The charm of yesteryear!
Everywhere you go in #japan there are signs of economic decay, a time when things used to be different, and I imagine better. Stores, houses, pachinko parlors that have been closed and/or abandoned, often decades ago. I have a thing for this #dilapidated#storefront#chic. Here is an example from #nagareyama in #chiba.
