I travel a great deal, but mainly commute to work on the 05.17 from Bremen each week day.

I read heavy books, collect old photographs, and write long letters. My working clothes are kilts, but I do own one pair of jeans.

This is a small, occasional record of those travels by train and bus, of books read and letters written, and sometimes the events in between. Posts are automatically deleted after three months.

Don't expect any deep philosophical content here!

I wanted to draw a picture with a background again. I keep forgetting how satisfying it is to finish an artwork that requires more work than a simple character drawing. I was inspired for this picture by various other illustrations and photos on the internet.

    @ryanhoulihan I've never considered myself attractive in any way. Old, bearded, bald, glasses, and yet.... drinks offered, people stop to drive me places, and make other offers.

    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it is not always good looks or a fine figure.

    I'm not sure where Mastodon gets it's "news" tidbits from, but one of the suggestions on the app today was an article from 2012.

    The selection, otherwise, is exceptionally limited, and has even included direct links to personal Twitter accounts!

    I just went to get groceries. My phone had beeped in the store, so after getting out, I stood on one of the parking spots in the shade to check my messages and reply.

    Next time I look up there's a car less than a metre in front of me and the driver is honking his horn at me angrily because how dare I, an entitled bicyclist, occupy the one parking space in the (⅔ empty) parking lot that he wants?!
