@supergarv Yup! It's a case I hadn't considered properly when I designed the system and I can't see any behaviour which would be 'correct'. I need to have a big rethink and do a 2.0 one day.
@joachim Hhm. How about having two interchangeable solutions then, or some kind of "bugfeature switch"? Would it be able to sort out by the users of the lib/app specifying what they would intent/expect? Sounds interesting! 🧐

EXT:news hat von list_type auf CType gewechselt. In #TYPO3 13.0 wurde indexed_search auf CType umgestellt. Noch nicht offiziell, aber da bahnt sich was an, dass Plugins (also list_type) bald abgeschafft wird. Was denkt ihr? Wer hat weitere Infos? TYPO3 13? TYPO3 14?
@froemken nicht v13, das waere ein breaking change, und wir sind schon jenseits der 13.0. Aber ja, stell mal lieber Deine Plugins auf CType um. Ist sowieso einfacher zu handhaben.
@froemken Habe keine Info dazu aber CType für Plugins zu nutzen geht ja schon seit Jahren. Habe das selbst vor 6-7 Jahren erst entdeckt durch das Bootstrap-Package IIRC. Selbst wenn es nicht abgeschaltet wird würde ich empfehlen umzusteigen.
