#Switzerland is on course to approve a law aimed at accelerating the development of renewable energy as the country targets carbon neutrality by 2050, a polling institute said -AFP #ClimateCrisis
I'm off on a train to Zürich, two days there and then back to Australia.
St Gallen was a delight - I'd never even heard of the place before, but it's a very pleasant small city with a lot of history and some wonderful old architecture.
A green salad. We had one of these as a starter at almost every meal our group had in Switzerland! Usually followed by something quite hearty. I started to think of the salad as a deliberately bland overture that would make the main course seem even more spectacular. :)
Note: the main courses were very good. And filling.
People, I have bad news. Even Switzerland has idiots who play video out loud on their phones in public. That's it, civilisation is done. Roll it up, it's over.
If you happen to be in Basel from June 10-16 for Art Basel, you can snap up one of 20 unique prints of my C-SCAPE endlessly evolving muti-cellulluar automata collection at The Digital Art Mile @ Space31, Rebgasse 31.
Just find the Generative Art kiosk organized & hosted by the fxhash team. The kiosk features a huge 86" screen showcasing realtime versions of generative art projects and single edition prints by 16 artists.
A small preview selection of C-SCAPE prints (30x30cm, 400g paper, high resolution) on offer (without watermark, of course)...
@nclslbrn Thank you & yeah, would be nice if it'd be on for a bit longer since I'm tempted to go myself, but also still undecided (it's only just over 3h from here)... at least this part is on until next Friday, so let's see...
New at my Patreon... I was walking along the lakeside promenade of Montreux, when I was startled to see a statue of Freddie Mercury. What was the connection?
Mushroom risotto for lunch yesterday at Ristorante Sensi in Locarno, Switzerland. Great stuff. Feeling the relaxed vibe here in the Italian-speaking south.
