I was recently gifted an iFixit screwdriver kit that doesn't include any regular hex drivers. Is everything just Torx now? Did I miss one of the Secret Meetings?
That said, Phillips heads were included, which is great because #ploopy products use those. Yay!
@ValerieSonh Yeah, this tracks. We're now a month or two into turning off all paid advertising for #Ploopy and literally none of the traffic data we can audit directly has registered meaningful negative change.
It's almost as if our users (mostly people who know their way around technology) have effective ways of avoiding ads altogether?!
@Edent we did recently add a "cheap" untracked shipping option. The consensus in our Discord is that it comes to you via a guy in an inflatable floating ball (meaning ocean freight).
It's slow AF and we can't take responsibility for disappearances en route, but maybe that tradeoff is ok for you?
AFAIK only #ploopy and a few hardcore individuals make #ploopy devices.
With that being said, does any #trackball nerd out there know how the #ploopy works w/ drivers? I'm not sure I am in the market for it yet as the kit is a bit expensive, but looking at the alternatives I'm not really sure I trust the brands.
