📢You’ve been asking for it and we are taking it into account!
We are looking into ways to integrate with out sister project, @murmel_social - to give readers on Feedle timely infos when certain search results become trending on #Mastoson, and why.
Of course, we don’t want this to turn into a popularity contest, so we’ll keep things very subtle for now.
The first step would be to give readers a tiny visual hint when a given search result is being talked about on Mastodon.
I’d attribute this to Reddit always being more aligned with fediverse values/structures, based on self-organising sub-reddits. Many on lemmy are “live free or die”.
Masto culture by comparison still seems interested in being the one place.
I’ve been trying to build a community around #circles, but I’ve been having some trouble getting people interested.
Is there something about my toots that are off-putting?
Or should I instance-hop to something like fosstodon?
Or are there just better places to talk about my projects?
Please boost for a larger reach, I’d like to hear your feedback.
@tikhonov_a That's true. I was planning on finding some repositories for #hacktoberfest and general contribution, maybe #mastoson will be my first one.
