I know it's not striped but "Tiger" is the first thing that came to mind when I picked up this shore rounded granitic stone. Most likely transported here from the Galway region by glacial activity during the last iceage.

Beautiful Ragged Robin (Lychnis flos-cuculi) flowers growing in their thousands, give a pink hue to many of the surrounding fields at this time of year.

Thongweed (Himanthalia elongata) buttons. Long shoelace or spaghetti like strands grow from the centre of these buttons as they mature.

The bowl of a clay pipe or "dúidin" in irish. This particular style of pipe was called a workman's pipe. It is of a heavier construction than the usual ones handed out at funerals and would have had a shorter stronger stem so that it could be held it between the teeth, leaving hands free for work.
The imprint on the bowl reads "Ben Nevis - Cutty"
