British architecture studios Nex and Donald Insall Associates renovated this neo-gothic Exeter College Library at the University of Oxford, originally constructed by George Gilbert Scott in 1857.

This is a beautiful building, but I cannot help but translate the term "transitioning area" into gentrification.

The museum will have a winding, undulating form lined on one side with vertical metal slats and horizontal slats of glass fibre-reinforced concrete on the other. According to the studio, this design draws on the landscape of rivers and mountains, as well as "the ancient origins of the city of Xi'an".
Sanjay Puri Architects has completed a spiral community center.

The OSU plant water-cooling facility is sheathed in a copper-colored aluminum screen and provides chilled water to numerous campus buildings for use in their air-conditioning systems.

US architecture firm Inform Studio and Buro Happold designed a curved and stepped wood-covered pedestrian bridge to link two parks in Providence, Rhode Island.
To make this happen they removed the I-195 highway from downtown. The bridge was floated 12 miles into place.
