#Music
I finally pushed myself to get out and go #Busking yesterday!!
I went out a couple of times in the fall, didn't make it out for Christmas season, but I've been procrastinating starting this spring because my anxiety and @actuallyautistic difficultly with transition.
I've wanted to be a professional singer my whole adult life, but my Christian upbringing makes me feel guilty for getting the things I want. But the ice is broken!! Just gotta build on this momentum now!
I was in town this afternoon and walking up Oliver Plunkett Street, came across Ryan Parsons, a very talented violinist busking on the street. A sizeable crowd gathered around in front of me, enjoying the music. The gentleman in the background of this photo was evidentially enjoying the music too, waving his hand in time with the beat of the tune.
(0/54) Ever think, “Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ is such a fantastic song. I should find and listen to many, many different versions of it!”?
No? Well … a few weeks ago, I did just that. I started a project of sorts which involved spending hours finding all manner of covers of Creep by Radiohead, so you don't have to!
Go ahead and listen to all of them, and let me know what you think of them…
(6/54) Not quite as polished, but pretty great for buskers on the street in my home city. 🙂 Allie Sherlock and the 3 Busketeers: https://youtu.be/9pecYpCh2Js
