Good #Slackerday morning to you. I'll join the chorus of folks who did NOT see the aurora borealis last night. Our chances were slim, due to thick clouds, so my expectations were low. I never saw them during a 3-week trip to Alaska, years ago. I love the photos people are sharing, though. Keep them coming! π
I'm feeling particularly lazy today, and I'm just going to go with it. I know it will pass.

Happy #Slackerday Saturday! Is there a measurement for snow that means less than a dusting? Trace? Whatever the smallest amount is, that's what we got. It has melted off already, except on our metal grill.
All that means is there is no shoveling involved, and the thick clouds remaining set the mood for a relaxing day inside. Even the birds seem to be taking it easy today, so the cats have given up + are napping already.

Good morning, y'all. π It's another soaking wet #Slackerday Saturday here #today. It's supposed to stay that way all day.
61 warm but wet degrees right now and expected to peak at around 68deg sometime #today. No sunshine to #joinin, of course.
But, I rolled out of bed to find the coffee patiently waiting, all warm n soothing, so there's that happy start to my day. βοΈπ
No plans other than the normal slacking off, procrastinating and sitting around thinking about how I probably should do something #today. Won't though, of course. Except maybe pour more coffee to sip, sit, ponder, and contemplate the gloomy weather outside. π€

I'm just sitting here savoring my coffee. The cats and I are watching two squirrels spiral up and down tree. The squirrels seem to be enjoying the weather, as if they have spring fever.
Not much to do today. It will be a true #Slackerday. Tomorrow looks to be very much the same. π€

It seems like I have been "celebrating" #today all week with a string of #Slackerday and sofa surfing #SofaSunday's. I should sure be well rested and in great shape to face #myday and #joinin on whatever misadventures this Friday brings.
If not, there is always tomorrow and Sunday's crashing on the comfy couch to look forward to. ππ
It's looking to be another lovely sunny day #today. Just 35deg F ( 2C) right now with the sun breaking brightly over the horizon and temperatures promising to head up near 70deg #today. So, as I sit here n sip away on my coffee, I'm hoping to be able to get outside and enjoy it. π

Good morning! In the spirit of #SlackerSaturday, I skipped my early-morning walk, hoping to minimize my pain when I go out to lunch with friends later today.
It's a foggy, drippy day out there, but the fog is supposed to lift by lunchtime and the heavy rain isn't supposed to come until tomorrow.

I'm not up and am unmoving here this lovely morning. I'm just sitting n slowly slurping my coffee as I peruse my not-do list of #myday of Honey-doins not being done and looking forward to checking em off as each one is left for sometime later #today or maybe tomorrow..π
I know that the wife isn't too keen on my slothful slacking on my Saturdays. So, no doubt she will have a few Honey-doins that she will insist I get honey-done. But I figure, if I procrastinate properly and slog along slowly, I just might make em take all day getting done. Don't want to leave any unused time for one of her special "honey, you busy's" to #joinin here someplace, ya know? π€
Well, back to my slow coffee slurping. Y'all have a slow start to your #Slackerday, and do try to not get anything done #today. ππ π
In other #Slackerday Saturday news, the wife has decided #today is the day to roast up n prepare our pre-thankgiving turkey dinner with all the fixings. Everything but a pie for dessert. π Not that I'd most likely have room for any. π So y'all know what I'll be stuffing my face with all week long now ππ
She has a second bird for our actual Thanksgiving day dinner in case somehow we managed to devour this pre-holiday feast fest. But I'm thinking that may last until Christmas. π
She and the neighbor food hunting n gathering women hunted up a great holiday deal for turkeys. 49 cents/ lb, but limited to one per customer. But somehow, she gathered up two.π
So, I'm looking at some hearty feasting in my #Slackerday Saturday plans now, too. π
Yea!π #Today is #Slackerday Saturday. The day when Heather hollers about some Honey-doins needing done and I get to holler back:
"Yeah, yeah, in just a minute! I'm fraught with finding, figuring out, fiddling with, and furiously focusing on fixing this frustrating frivolous fixture!"
Then, while she's scratching her digital head, busily trying decipher all that gobbly gook, I can proceed to sit back and finish sipping on my morning coffee βοΈ π
So, y'all #joinin yelling back at YOUR hollering honey-do Heather and have a nice n relaxing day. π π π
Do yourself a favor. If you can't do this today, try to do it tomorrow. Take your to-do list and limit it to just three things. Let the rest go and give yourself a break for a change. If you want to crash on the couch and watch movies, do it. If you want to read all day, do that. Saturdays and Sundays don't have to be about doing exciting things. Sometimes, they need to be about just recovering and being low-key and that's PERFECT.
Up with the sun this morning, with it shining brightly through my window and into my sleepy face. π₯±
It's already in the mid 70's here #today and it's barely past 7:30. Never drop much lower than 75 degrees F overnight and have another very hot (heat advisory already) day ahead. Well into the high 90s if not triple digits for #myday. So yeah, cooped up inside again.π
Plans for #myday? It's Slackerday Saturday, so lots of slacking off on my Honey-doins #today. Lots of coffee sipping and procrastinating and moaning n groaning, like only an old man can, when the wife starts asking, "Isn't #today Saturday...." π
