I watch all kinds of international stuff including European detective shows, #Kdrama, #Jdorama and #Telenovelas, but I have never gotten into Chinese dramas. Every time I start one, I quit after an episode or two. Is there something really good out there I am missing? #cDrama

#cdrama I watched She and Her Perfect Husband all the way through this weekend, and I had some thoughts.
Summary: A high dollar lawyer lied on her resume saying that she was married. When the person from her photoshopped marriage photo shows up, she has to convince him to pretend to be her husband to keep her job and possibly get a promotion.
The show had lots of interesting moments, and I liked the husband character especially, but it also revealed some problematic aspects of Chinese culture.
The things I liked were mostly unspoken. The way she usually drove, but if she asked him to drive and he would.
The way they would casually touch each other to comfort their spouse in public and in private.
The way he never felt jealous that she made more money than he did.
The way she never said "Why don't you just go get a job."
The script, however, tried to subvert these points. don't know if it was the writer or the censors, but overall I liked the show. #sheandHerperfectHusband
