#pnpde#Rollenspiel
Hey sup everyone. It’s me, the guy who said they’ll be back next Xmas after finishing the God of War DLC. Welp, here I am - wellllll before next Xmas. The DLC is super disappointing and I’m damn glad it was free. Run forward, open a door, fight random monsters. Climb a wall, open another door, fight another monster, get a chest with random shit in it. No rhyme or reason as to the shit you get - choose left or right, then climb down a wall, go through another door, fight another rando. Wash rinse and repeat. Super boring. Almost 8 gigabytes I’ll never see again.
Thoroughly disrecommended, free or not. Back to Horizon Forbidden West we go.
Every now and then, NetFlix inadvertantly vomits up a gem, and Ragnarok is one of them. The script is original, the setting is beautiful and the performances are top notch all round. It's a fantasy series based on Norse mythology, but it's more grounded and believable than a lot of family dramas.
There are 3 seasons of 6 episodes, and I'm struggling not binge it.
I've always enjoyed the Norse tales. Odin, Freya, Thor, Loki...
I was a bit surprised at how thoroughly I enjoyed Ragnarok series. The storyline is well done and the cinematography is beautiful (but then Norway is a beautiful country).
#Ragnarok has been one of the best shows on Netflix over the last few years, but goddamn, that was a disappointing cop-out of an ending. I mean, really? Even so, I'd still recommend the show to anyone who'd be into an oddball mythology story set in a mundane world.
One event Vikings feared most was Ragnarök, the Doom of the Gods. While investigating the Icelandic Surtshellir Cave, scientists discovered how Vikings attempted to prevent Ragnarök.
#introduction: taking this opportunity (meltdown at .lol) to open a professional account here and a separate personal one (still looking), all a bit chaotic so apologies if you see me following you from a million accounts today!
