Ist die #Playstation2 schon Retro genug für den #RetroMontag?
Egal, es ist schon älter und ich liebe es immer noch: Ape Escape 3. Die ersten beiden Teile hab ich damals noch nicht in die Finger bekommen, aber Teil 3 auf der PS2 mehrfach durchgespielt und geliebt. Du fängst Affen, die Filme und Spiele als Filmr nachdrehen und hast dabei ein unglaublich intuitives Gameplay Gefühl. Ich liebe den Humor und die Anspielungen im Spiel.
Durch #Emulation mit #SteamDeck kann ich es heute nochmal spielen!
Heute um 17 Uhr CEST startet die Vorbesteller Beta von neuen #mortalkombat1 und ich habe glücklicherweise einen #playstation5 Key bekommen und freue mich schon darauf zu sehen, was sich so getan hat, seit ich die Reihe zuletzt auf der #playstation2 gespielt habe 🤣🤭🩷

My ps3 is still going so I think that’s on my list for hacking. It’s always the hardware backwards compatible one . I have a second one as well I’ve been using for spare parts but I think that one is also salvageable ..
As to the ps2 phat, I was able to score a network hDD adapter about a month ago and was only able to test it now .. so far so good :)
But that screen is so hard to read , can’t wait for the retro rink to arrive !

Hello #RetroGaming community! I found my old #PS2#PlayStation2 slim. It appears to be in almost perfect physical condition, but it won’t read all discs. For example, it reads Gran Turismo 4 just fine, but it refuses to read Namco 50th Anniversary. (Both discs are basically flawless, BTW. No scratches at all.)
Is there anyone in the L.A. area who could help me with diagnosis and repair? I fear it may need a new laser, and I don’t feel comfortable replacing it on my own.
